JMAA upgraded terminal areas and the East and West concourses. These upgrades included gate hold areas beyond security check point and general/common area concourse flooring. McAfee3 developed floor plans and elevations of the east and west terminals, creating various options for walls and flooring and selected comfort seating with technology capabilities, reviewed various materials and finishes and called reps for pricing and samples. The final project included changes in interior finishes; flooring and walls, with accent walls of color or graphics to enhance the passenger experience, Hearing Loop locations to comply with ADA, and enhanced charging stations with comfort seating areas.
