The program requirements for Jackson’s Mortuary were direct and forceful. A structure was required to give quiet and dignified service to families in a moment of emotional stress and to be as functional as possible from an administrative and professional level. The site development is an expression of the flexibility achieved for the many varies functions of a building containing only 6200 sq ft. This development is both within and without the structure. In conclusion, the imagination of the staff of Jackson’s Mortuary has proven that the solution fulfills the functional requirements.
