South Fulton Library

This project includes 15,000-square-foot renovation of the existing library and 10,000-square-foot addition. The roadway entrance to the library and parking deck leads to a multi-colored circular concrete paved motor court that welcomes visitors to the new 25,000-square-foot library and a 127- space four-level parking deck with two stairwells and an elevator. Once inside the library, the foyer has an open café with vending machines, water fountains, tables and seating, and rest rooms. Patrons will experience the openness of 20-foot ceilings and an expansive glass façade that overlooks a serene wooded area that separates the library from Flat Shoals Road. The project will incorporate enhanced community meeting space, computer services, and space dedicated to children’s and teen’s services. This project achieved LEED Gold.
